DTF Transfer Iron Ciruct Press Instructions
Applying a DTF transfer requires proper placement, heat, pressure, and finishing to ensure a smooth, durable, and vibrant design. Follow the steps below for professional-quality results on any garment.
Place It
Begin by laying your garment flat on the heat press platen or a clean, heat-resistant surface. Smooth out any wrinkles or folds to ensure an even press.
Carefully position the DTF transfer onto the garment with the design facing upward. Adjust the placement until it is straight, centered, and aligned to your preference.
Pressing – STEP 1
Set your heat press to 300°F (149°C) and adjust the pressure to medium (6–7 pressure level).
Press the garment with the transfer for 10–15 seconds, ensuring even heat and consistent pressure across the full design area.
Peel It – STEP 2
Allow the transfer to cool until it is warm or fully cold, depending on your preferred peel method.
Gently peel the PET film back in a steady motion to reveal the printed design underneath.
2nd Press – STEP 3
Cover the exposed design with a Teflon sheet for a shiny finish or parchment paper for a matte finish.
Press again at 300°F (149°C) for 7–10 seconds to lock in the design and improve durability and wash resistance.
